4G Coverage

While in the 4G coverage area, you will have access to voice service and accelerated data speeds on our 4G HSPA+ network. Maximum theoretical download speeds on this network are 21Mbps. Actual speeds experienced will vary dependent on environmental factors, location, device limitations, current cell site load and backhaul capacity. 4G data usage requires HSPA+ capable device. Your HSPA+ device may or may not have an indicator that designates 4G from 3G coverage, consult your owner's manual. If 4G data is not available, your device will revert to using 3G or GPRS/EDGE data speeds.

3G Coverage

While in this coverage area, you will have access to the 3G Network which provides voice coverage and accelerated data speeds. Actual throughput speed will vary. 3G data usage requires a 3G HSPA capable device. If 3G data is not available, your device will revert to using GPRS/EDGE data speeds.

While in this area, you'll have access to our best coverage in the Cincinnati Bell local voice network and GPRS/EDGE data service. Your phone should display "Cincinnati Bell." Certain optional services such as Unlimited Everyday Calling and Local Mobile-to Mobile service only apply within the Local Servcie Area. Nationwide Mobile-to-Mobile service works in all U.S. coverage areas and is now an available option for most plans.

National Service Area 2G Coverage

While in this area, you'll have access to the 2G (GSM) voice network and GPRS/EDGE data service. Your phone should display either "CinBell USA" or "Roam." There are no roaming charges in the National Service Area when your plan includes nationwide free roaming. The optional Nationwide Mobile-to-Mobile service will work in this area.
